Nikwax Rug Wash (1L)
Specialty cleaner designed to revitalize water repellency and breathability for all horse blankets and pet beds. Easy to use in a washing machine, or by hand, non flammable and PFAS-free.
For cleaning horse blankets
- Technical cleaner for horse blankets, turnout sheets, and pet beds
- Cleans effectively, revitalizes insulation and restores water repellency
- Revives the performance of blankets and coats, keeping your animal warmer and drier
- Recommended for Rambo® and all other animal jackets and blankets
For washing machines...
IMPORTANT: Do not use conventional detergents. Use undiluted Rug Wash to treat stubborn stains before washing.
Industrial, laundromat size machine:
- Remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser.
- Place maximum of 1 blanket in washing machine.
- Add 5fl oz/150ml of Rug Wash.
- Select a normal cycle using warm/cold water, slow spin and extra rinse if possible.
Hand Wash (use gloves):
- Add 3.5fl oz/100ml of Rug Wash to 1 gal/3.8L of warm water in laundry tub or sink.
- Agitate to mix.
- Use brush to scrub the solution into fabric paying attention to dirty areas.
- Rinse thoroughly in clean water.
Do not dry before waterproofing. Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
Waterproof blankets at least once a year with Nikwax Rug Proof.
